Christy Copeland is the Visionary and Founder of The EmpowHER Organization, Inc., a national ministry currently operating in Texas, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Through this platform, she leads transformative initiatives focused on building the whole woman—mentally, spiritually, professionally, personally, and physically.
Christy Copeland is also a Licensed Evangelist, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas and the founder of Cope Land Counseling Center in Longview, Texas, where she provides compassionate, solution focused therapy to adults, couples, and groups using both traditional talk therapy and creative modalities such as music, art, and movement. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and was recognized in the 2021 Winter Edition of Pulse Magazine as the first graduate of its newly established Clinical Mental Health Program. Christy is also a published author of 9 pieces of literary art, including her latest 2026 release, Growing in the Swamp, and she is deeply committed to helping individuals achieve emotional, spiritual, and mental wellness.
As an innovator, trendsetter, and highly sought-after speaker, coach, and workshop facilitator, Christy Copeland has been featured on national platforms across the country, including Maryland, Indiana, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Florida. She has delivered keynote addresses at distinguished events such as The Big Texas Rally for Recovery, the Tyler Junior College Black Excellence Gala, Troup High School’s National Honor Society Induction Ceremony, and the Tyler Area Alliance of Black School Educators’ 3rd Annual Yellow Rose Gala. In March 2025, she served as a professional expert mental health speaker for MD Anderson Cancer Center—one of the world’s most prestigious hospitals—and as a presenter for fellow clinicians at the Kilgore College Substance Abuse Conference in 2025 and 2026.
In recognition of her leadership and impact, Christy was crowned Woman Queen CEO in March 2025 and received the Level Up Award from Mrs. CEO in August 2025 for her entrepreneurial excellence. She was also featured on the CBS 19 TV News special for Mental Health Awareness Month (May 2025), honored as the Covergirl for Women of Dignity Magazine, and named one of the Top 30 Trendsetters Among Women by K.I.S.H. Magazine.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, exploring new experiences, and spending quality time with her husband, Terrell of 25 years, and her family.
